Visiting Free Attractions
There are so many attractions that are free in Las Vegas. You can visit these attractive even if you are not staying at the hotels. At the Bellagio, you can watch the giant fountain show, which changes colors at night or take a walk through the gardens to see the beautiful scenery. If you decide to visit the Mirage, you can see the rare white lions and a one-of-a-kind shark tank. Don’t forget to stay hello to a very rare hammerhead shark. Or if you prefer downtown Vegas, you can visit Fremont Street to see the free light show every half hour, or watch the circus acts at Circus Circus Hotel. If you want to get a taste of Italy, visit the Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian Hotel complete with gondola rides. If you want to see some shows, Treasure Island has sirens show that takes place on a pirate ship, and Caesars has interactive mythological statues. This is all free!
Hotels in Vegas have their own casinos. Sometimes if you stay at a particular hotel, they will give you $5 to $20 of comp money that you can gamble with. While you are gambling, you can also get free alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages from cocktail waitresses.
Eating At Affordable Restaurants
Even though you can get free drinks, see free shows, and get free gambling money, restaurants are not free to each unless you have coupons or comps from hotels. You can get delicious food at bargains prices on the Vegas strip. If you like downtown Vegas, Fremont Street has a lot of great food deals such as steak and lobster for under $10, fish and chips for under $8, prime rib for under $8, or spaghetti for under $7. Or if you want to eat in the middle or the northern parts of the strip, there are other places you can eat at pretty cheap such as Caffe Giorgio or House of Blues at the Mandalay, Backstage deli at the Luxor Hotel, Witchcraft, Rainforest Café, or Stage Deli at the MGM Grand, Planet Hollywood or the Cheesecake Factory at Caesars. All of these places are under $25.
